Z Bar Angus is located at Marsden, SK, just east of the Saskatchewan and Alberta border, approximately 45 minutes south of Lloydminster.
Our cattle herd has always been Angus influenced. It was primarily unregistered Red Angus until three years ago when we began purchasing registered Blacks from dispersals, production sales and private sales.
We now have approximately 250 head of purebred cattle. These cattle consist mainly of straight Canadian genetics. We purchased a group of Red cows and heifers from the Crowfoot Dispersal Sale in November of 2013, giving us a few more Red cattle. Bulls are sold out of the yard.
